Rhythms of The Reef Chorus Inc has been providing entertaining, dynamic, performances throughout the community in the Bundaberg region for over 10 years. Since 2023 we had been under the direction of Mary Maclean.
The purpose of the chorus is to provide good quality female group singing and performance by members for their enjoyment and development. It is our goal to contribute to the artistic enrichment of the Bundaberg region.
We provide musical education and training for our members in basic singing technique specific to particular singing styles. We give public and private performances to entertain, and to enhance community well-being.
We perform at each of Bundaberg Regional Council's Citizenship Ceremonies, visit nursing homes, perform for community clubs and each year we hold our own concert to mark the success of our year.
In 2025 we performed at 20 events in our community including: Childers Anglican Church, Bundaberg Caledonian Band Concert, Bundaberg Eisteddfod, Bundaberg View Club, several nursing homes and a number of retirement villages. Our end of year concert was held at Shalom Catholic College.
We rehearse weekly from late January, until early December at St Luke's Anglican School. We would like to take this opportunity to thank St Luke's Anglican School for their ongoing support of our organisation.
